1986. Since then it has built a worldwide reputation for its quality of content
aimed at fans, stars and the music industry. The magazine often includes album

world’s biggest artists on its innovative front covers and feature articles.

Q is the UK’s most purchased
magazine. It also includes impressive photography and in-depth reporting. It
has grown to become trusted and important as well as persuasive within the
world of music, a review in Q can make or break and bands career. They tend to
have unmatched access to the biggest stars in rock and roll. Its audience is
the youngest than any other music monthly magazine and not just 97% of its
readers class it as a quality magazine but research also states that it rates
higher than others with its quality of awards, photography, and interviews.
Each issue includes the
interviews and information on the latest and biggest stars within the music
industry. The circulation of this magazine is 58,980 (just from Jan-Jun ’13)
and their readership is estimated as 377,000. The gender ratio is 31.7% female
and 68.3% male and the highest age to read this magazine is 15-24.
Q is linked to big events such
as Glastonbury as every year Q produces
Glastonbury’s Official Souvenir Review live on the festival site. They also
have created their own annual Q award ceremony which has the biggest stars
attending each year. They have even go as far to create their own radio station
and online app.
